Mahabali Steel is one of the pioneer dealers and stockiest of Duplex Stainless Steel S32760 Sheets, Plates & Coils , where solution treatment or annealing can be done by rapid cooling after heating to around 1100 Degree C. Although machinable, the high strengths of duplex stainless steels make machining difficult.
Duplex steel S32760 plates offered by Mahabali Steel cannot be hardened by heat treatment, where they can however be work hardened. They are not quite as easily welded as the austenitic grades but low thermal expansion in duplex grades reduces distortion and residual stresses after welding. Duplex steel S32760 coils offered by Mahabali Steel have good weldability and all standard welding processes can be used.
Duplex steel S32760 sheets take its name from its two - phase microstructure of ferrite and austenite in approx. equal proportions. The materials of this alloy acquire their optimum properties with a balanced ferrite - austenite ratio of approx. 50 / 50. Duplex Alloy S32760 sheets offered by Mahabali Steel are currently the most widespread variants and are distinguished by outstanding application properties and by high availability in all the relevant product forms.
Because of their lower nickel and molybdenum content, materials are economically attractive and have greater resilience, reliability and ease of working than lower alloy austenitic or carbon steels. Compared to the austenitic stainless steels, Alloy S32760 plates contain less nickel (approx. 4 % to 8 %), which results in very good value for money.
